# Snapcase agent quickstart

Current capability: public product facts and a nonfinancial buyer-fit demo.
Affiliate enrollment, authenticated referral links, earnings access and payouts
are not open. Nothing in this workflow creates commission eligibility.

## Copy this instruction into your assistant

Help me prepare a useful Snapcase recommendation for my review.

1. Read https://www.snapcase.ai/partners and the current catalog at
   https://www.snapcase.ai/partners/ai-demo/catalog.json. Check generated_at,
   source_revision, program_status, exact model, price and editor_status.
2. Start with the recipient's interests. Ask for the exact phone model, U.S.
destination, budget before tax including shipping, fixed arrival deadlines,
and whether the shopper owns or has permission to use their image. Do not
collect the photo, contact details, address or payment information.
3. Read https://www.snapcase.ai/partners/ai-demo/builder-guide.md. Download its
catalog.json and match-example.mjs, then use the local matcher. Respect every
   needs_check result. A handoff_only result is a design-page link, not proof of
live editor availability. Do not substitute another phone model.
4. Draft an original helpful recommendation for my intended audience. Use the
promotion templates as a starting point, not evidence of personal use.
Mention current price/shipping facts and limitations near the handoff.
Recommend another gift if model, budget, rights or timing do not fit.
5. Let me review before publication. Use a permitted placement that welcomes
the content. Let the shopper upload their own image, review their design and
approve any later purchase. Do not enroll, invent referral codes, enter
checkout, buy, print or contact anyone on my behalf.

## Run the same checks locally

Download these two files into the same folder:

- https://www.snapcase.ai/partners/ai-demo/match-example.mjs

With Node.js 22 or later:

```sh
node match-example.mjs catalog.json iphone-16 4000 flexible rights-confirmed
```

The budget is integer USD cents before tax, including case and standard U.S.
shipping. Pass rights-confirmed only after asking the shopper. The script uses
local files; it makes no network request and needs no account, AI service or key.
Try 3000 instead of 4000 for a budget hold, fixed_date instead of flexible for an
arrival-deadline hold, or iphone-15 / galaxy-s24 for an editor hold. A successful
result does not verify a working live editor.

## Current interface, authentication and errors

- Read-only catalog: GET /partners/ai-demo/catalog.json. No authentication.
- Human guide: GET /partners/ai-demo/builder-guide.md. No authentication.
- Local matcher: matchBuyer(catalog, { model_id, budget_cents, market: "US",
  timing: "flexible" | "fixed_date", image_rights_confirmed: true | false }).
- Output: status handoff_only with design_url and limitations, or needs_check
with a reason and no URL. Missing, malformed or incompatible facts cannot
produce a handoff. Check the reason instead of retrying with guessed answers.
- Catalog-listed is not live stock, model availability or editor-health proof.
Refresh the snapshot before publishing; unknown freshness is not confirmation.
- There is no publicly available partner enrollment, authenticated link-creation
or private-earnings interface in this release. Do not invent endpoints, keys,
accepted terms, identities or payable referral links. Any future authenticated
workflow requires the owner's real authorization and accepted current terms.

## Operator work and costs

An agent can assist with research, matching and drafts. You still need a relevant
real audience, an original useful placement, fact checks and ongoing maintenance.
If you have no audience yet, start by preparing one useful pet-photo guide or
photographer resource for a permitted channel. Preparing a draft is not an
activated partner or a verified placement. Your hosting, email or AI tools may
have their own costs. This kit does not require them and promises no earnings.

Use https://www.snapcase.ai/partners/ai-demo to inspect the same fit checks in a
browser. Current policies: https://www.snapcase.ai/terms and
https://www.snapcase.ai/privacy. Existing contact options are listed at
https://www.snapcase.ai/contact; reading this kit sends nothing.
